Damp and moisture problems can have many different causes. What appears to be rising damp could instead be condensation, penetrating moisture, defective rainwater goods, leaking pipework, failed pointing, roofing defects or moisture becoming trapped within the building.
Our approach is to investigate the property as a whole, looking for evidence that helps identify where the moisture is coming from and why the problem is occurring.
The aim is simple: identify the likely cause before recommending what should happen next.

Following every Damp & Moisture Survey, you will receive a written report detailing the areas inspected, our observations and findings, the likely cause or causes of the moisture problem, and our recommended next steps.
Where appropriate, the report will include supporting photographs and relevant moisture readings recorded during the inspection.
